Margaret Tolbert Poellnitz, 68, of Rembert Hill, Ala., died Monday, February 18, 2002, at Bryan W. Whitfield Memorial Hospital.
Services were held Wednesday, February 20, 2002, at the O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Don Newton and Henry Huckabee officiating.
Burial was in the Poellnitz Family Cemetery in Rembert Hill under the direction of O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home.
She was born April 25, 1933 in Octagon.
She had been a seamstress for the Linden Manufacturing Co. and was member of Forest Hill Baptist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Faye Sheppard of Fairhope and Angela Busch of Mobile; a son, Phillip W. Poellnitz of Sweet Water; a sister, Carolyn Carlisle of Linden; a brother, Glen Tolbert of Sweet Water; two grandsons, John David Hollinger of Fairhope and Phillip "P.J." Poellnitz of Demopolis; a granddaughter, Lillie Caroline Busch of Mobile; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Pallbearers were Donald Ray Huckabee, Paul Sager, Tommy Sager, Freddie Sheppard, Greg Singleton and Don Tanks.
Honorary pallbearers were John David Hollinger, Herman Hickabee, Phillip "P.J." Poellnitz Jr. and Jamie Walters.
