Kenneth Carl Williams, 62, of Charlotte, N.C., died Friday, January 25, 2002, at Carolina’s Medical Center in Charlotte.
Graveside services were held Monday, January 28, 2002 at Memorial Gardens in Demopolis with Rev. Don Smith officiating. Burial was under the direction of Kidd-Robbins Funeral Directors.
He was a native of Shortleaf, Ala., and a resident of Charlotte, N.C. He graduated from Demopolis High School in 1958 and served in the Air Force for four years.
He was preceded in death by his father, Luther V. Williams.
He is survived by his mother, Betty S. Williams of Demopolis; two sisters, Betty Joyce W. Tatum of Demopolis and Patricia W. Nicholson of Cullman; and one brother, Robert V. Williams of Demopolis.
Pallbearers were Ed Williams, C.O. Williams, Alvin Williams, Mitch Mitchell, Charles Howard Williams, Robert Key, George Stoudenmire and Gwinn Etheridge.
Honorary pallbearers were Joyce Robbins, Dr. Al Hudson, the Demopolis High School Class of 1958, Teddy Porter, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Dale, and Mr. and Mrs. W. Loie McGee.
