Adele Duke Steen 88, of Demopolis, passed away Dec 3, 2016 at home.
She was born Oct. 23, 1928, in Gallion, Al., to the late Herbert Atkins and Mildred Honeycutt Duke.
She is survived by her daughters, Carol Steen (Ronny) Landrum of Alabaster, Kathy Steen Culberson of Alexandria, Va., and Ellen Steen (Tracy) Cook of Satsuma; son, Fred A. (Sheree) Steen of Forkland;sisters, Fannie Walsh and Leila Henders; grandchildren, Tom Smith, Chris Landrum, Freddie Steen Jr., Samantha Steen Becker, Tyler Cook, Jordan Culberson, Tucker Culberson and Jeremy Black; great-grandchildren, Noelle Smith, Dylan Smith, Annabelle Landrum, Sutton Becker, Jasper Steen and Savannah Landrum.
Funeral services will be held noon Wednesday, Dec. 7 at Demopolis First Baptist Church with the Rev. Carl Williams officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel directing. Burial will follow at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery in Pineapple, Alabama. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
Pallbearers will be Tom Smith, Chris Landrum, Freddie Steen, Tyler Cook, Jeremy Black and Tucker Culberson.
