Friday night shooting claims life, another injured

A shooting at a private residence the night of Oct. 30 claimed the life of one victim and left another wounded. The suspect of the crime is currently unknown.
Ray Anthony Rowser, 37, succumbed to his gun shot wounds after being transported by AmStar EMS to Bryan Whitfield Memorial Hospital according to Demopolis Police Department Chief Tommy Reese.
Around 10:10 p.m., the DPD responded to a call of people being shot on 512 Blacks Drive in Demopolis.
Upon arrival, officers discovered located Rowser and Jennifer Martin both with gunshot wounds.
Martin was transported to the emergency room by private car at BWMH and was released after treatment.
At the time of writing, the case is still an open investigation and the DPD is asking for anyone with information that can aid in the apprehension of a suspect to contact the office at 334-289-3073 or the TIP Line at 334-289-1475.
