Congresswoman Terri Sewell will host a “Congress in your Community” town hall in Thomaston at the Thomaston Town Hall on Tuesday, April 7.
The visit is part of Sewell’s tour through the 14 counties that make up the 7th Congressional District. Her Thomaston meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m.
Sewell’s annual town hall meetings give constituents an opportunity to share their views and concerns and hear updates on the latest in Congress.
“Each year, my annual tour serves as a catalyst for meaningful dialogue with my constituents,” Sewell said. “I look forward to connecting with the residents of the 7th Congressional District to address their concerns and update them on the various legislative initiatives in Congress. I am certain that this year’s tour through the district will continue to help me to better serve the needs of those I’m honored to represent.”
In addition to Thomaston, Sewell will also make stops in Bessemer, Birmingham, Tuscaloosa, Hayneville, Montgomery, Reform, Epes, Pennington, Thomasville, Yellow Bluff, Marion, Orrville, Greensboro and Eutaw during the 2015 tour.
