The University of West Alabama will close at 2 p.m. on Monday in response to the threat of severe weather during the afternoon and evening. This closing also includes the Demopolis Higher Education Center, UWA Campus School and University Cinema.

Campus dining facilities will close at 4:30 p.m.

The Student Union Building Fitness Center will remain open until 10 p.m. as a shelter. The bottom floor of Wallace Hall will be open as an additional shelter, and those with pets must choose Wallace Hall between the two shelter options.
