U.S. Jones and Westside Elementary will be hosting Grandparents Weeks in September.

U.S. Jones will hold theirs Tuesday, Sept. 3 through Friday, Sept. 5. Grandparents are welcome to come eat breakfast with their student on their designated Grandparents Day. Breakfast will be served from 7:20-8 a.m. The designated days by grade level are as follows:

•Third grade – Wednesday, Sept. 3

•Fourth grade – Thursday, Sept. 4

•Fifth grade – Friday, Sept. 5

There will also be the school’s annual book fair in the library during these days. Parents and grandparents are invited to stop by with their student when they come for breakfast.

At Westside, Grandparents Week will be held Monday, Sept. 8 through Friday, Sept. 12.

Like U.S. Jones, grandparents are also invited to Westside to eat breakfast with their student at 7:15 a.m. on the following designated days:

•Kindergarten – Tuesday, Sept. 9

•First grade – Wednesday, Sept. 10

•Second grade – Thursday, Sept. 11

Pancakes will be served for breakfast each day, and the school will also be taking photos of the students with their grandparents.

Westside will also be holding their annual book fair during Grandparents Week, so grandparents are invited to go by the library after breakfast.
