To the citizens of Demopolis:

Johnny and I cannot thank you enough for the warm hospitality you have shown us over our brief time in Demopolis.

I am truly grateful to Dr. Ronnie Chu for giving me the opportunity to be part of the Chu Clinic family. The entire clinic staff and Dr. Chu have given me support through my transition from residency to my first job and an education that I will carry forth with me.

Our reason for leaving is simple, but please know that our decision has been the toughest one we have ever made as a family because of the citizens of Demopolis.

The reason we have chosen to leave is because of the hospital’s decision to close the Labor and Delivery unit. Taking care of expecting mothers and bringing new life into the world is where my true passion lies in medicine.

Although it was short, we hope that we were able to have a positive impact using the skills that I have been blessed with.
