The Community Action Agency of South Alabama will sponsor a food distribution later this month.

The event will happen Wednesday, July 23 from 9 a.m. to noon at the former National Guard Armory at 2400 East Coats Ave. in Linden.

Preregistration for the drive will begin Monday, July 14 and last through Friday, July 18 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Onsite registration will be determined by the amount of food available.

Those interested in participating must provide a social security card, proof of income for all family members and a photo ID for the head of the household or applicant. Each participant’s household income cannot exceed 125 percent of Federal Poverty Guidelines. Additional information may be required at registration.
