Katherine Adkins Barnes, 69, of Demopolis, died Thursday, October 23, 2003, at DCH Regional Medical Center.

Graveside services were held Saturday, October 25, 2003, at Geneva Presbyerian Cemetery with Rev. Scott Armstrong officiating and under the direction of Kidd-Robbins Funeral Directors.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Tom Adkins and Ladye B. Adkins.

Ms. Barnes is survived by two daughters, Kathy Jo (Robert) Fair and Audrey Lynn Barnes, both of Demopolis; Thomas Michael (Kathy) Barnes of Demopolis; two sisters, Jo-An Anderson and Tommye A. Phillips, both of Linden; two grandchildren, Dustin M. Barnes and Christopher Matthew Barnes, both of Demopolis; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Bo Ward, Pete Davis, Charles Dotson, Joe Skirbinc, Gordon Moore and Meadow Jones.

Honorary pallbearers were Thomas Barnes, Jim Reid, Grover Cleveland, A.G. Westbrook and Dan Wilson.
