With the June 3 primary less than two weeks away, the Marengo County Commission wants to remind citizens of several voting location changes in the county.
The commission voted to change the locations in a Feb. 11 meeting after a request from Probate Judge Laurie Hall.
In District 3, the Cornerstone voting location was changed from the church to the county-owned Small Business Incubator located at 2400 East Coats Avenue.
In District 5, three locations will be different from where they have been in the past.
The old courthouse location will now be in a new metal building at 108 North Main St. in Linden.
This is located in the parking lot across Main Street from the current courthouse and next to Two of a Kind.
The Aimwell voting location was moved to Aimwell Baptist Church at 2770 County Road 17 in Sweet Water from the old metal building.
The last voting location change is the Hoboken location.
This is now located at Nicholsville Baptist Church at 6437 Nicholsville Road in Sweet Water.
Anyone with questions or concerns regarding the changes can contact Marengo County Commission Chairman Michael Thompson at (334) 295-2203.
