The Demopolis Public Library will offer basic computer classes for adults starting Tuesday, May 13 at 5:30 p.m. at the library.
The classes will be held every Tuesday through June 24. The final class will be Monday, June 30 at 5:30 p.m.
A non-refundable registration fee of $5 is required for each class. People can register for each class individually, or all classes. Participants in the class must have a Demopolis Public Library card. Classes will last one hour and be taught by library director Morgan Allen.
“Computer skills are vital in today’s world, and I feel there is a need for these skills in our community,” Allen said. “Computer classes are one way the library can meet the needs of the community. Our computer classes will provide hands-on training to adults. We’ll make you more confident when using computers in the library, at work, at home or when looking for a job.”
For more information or to register for the class, visit the Demopolis Public Library or call (334) 289-1595.
