Canebrake Players accepting scholarship essays

The Canebrake Players are accepting essays for its Clark Pickel Memorial Scholarship.
The $1,000 scholarship is awarded to a high school senior who has been involved with a Canebrake Players production.
The award will be given to the winner of an essay titled “What the Canebrake Players Means to Me.”
Essays must be 500 words or less and include what productions you were involved in and how so (acting, stage manager, tech crew, etc.).
Mail completed essays to: The Canebrake Players, P.O. Box 1164, Demopolis, AL 36732. Essays must be postmarked on or before April 25.
