Big doe contest to be held Jan. 25

First South Farm Credit is sponsoring a big doe contest on the morning of Saturday, Jan. 25.
The winner of the contest will receive a $100 deer processing coupon to be used at Dixie Deer Processing and a $100 gift certificate to Willingham Sports in Demopolis.

No entry fee for the contest is required, and the does must be harvested on the morning of Jan. 25. Does will be weighed at Dixie Processing at 3015 County Road 21 in Marengo County between 8 a.m. and noon on Jan. 25. At noon, the hunter with the heaviest doe will be declared the winner.
Prizes will be awarded immediately following the end of the contest, and if the winner is not present, they will be contacted and awarded the prizes as soon as possible. In case of a tie, the winner will be determined by a coin flip.
