With the Christmas holiday just a few days away, several local government offices will be closed during the week next week.

Demopolis City Hall will be closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and on New Year’s Day.

The United States Postal Service will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, so mail will not be delivered on those days.

Local trash pickup will also be behind during the holiday. Advanced Disposal will be closed on Christmas Day and will pick up on Thursday, Dec. 26. They will also not pick up on New Year’s Day, and will pick up on Thursday, Jan. 2 instead.

Linden City Hall will also be closed during the holiday, except they will be open on Christmas Eve, but closed on Christmas and on Thursday, Dec. 26 as well as on New Year’s.
