Terry George Dill

Terry George Dill, 59, of Elizabethtown, Ky., died Saturday, Dec. 7 at his home.

He was a native of Gallion, retired from the U. S. Army and worked at Home Depot, where he was an assistant manager. He was a police officer for the Elizabethtown Police Department for eight years and was a member of the American Legion Post No. 113.

He was preceded in death by his father, the Rev. Edward Robertson.

He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Marsha Mattingly Dill; three sons, Marlon (Teshekia) Dill of McCalla, Terry Dill Jr. and Nick Mathers both of Elizabethtown; four daughters, Lindsay Dill-Gray of Suffolk, Va., Tressica Lomax of Gallion, Wanakee (Kenneth) Lee of Lawerenceville, Ga., and Patricia Tucker of Snellville, Ga.; his mother, Jestina Dill Washington of Gallion; and 13 grandchildren.

The funeral will be Wednesday, Dec. 11 at 1 p.m. at Lakeside Worship Center in Elizabethtown, Ky., with Pastor Edward L. Palmer officiating.

Visitation was from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and continued after 10 a.m. Wednesday at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown.
