Jingle Bell Run sees repeat winner

Another year of the Jingle Bell Run means another good day for Harriet’s House.
The 2013 COTR Jingle Bell Run/Walk saw close to 120 people register, with the proceeds going to Harriet’s House to benefit abuse victims in Marengo, Choctaw, Clarke, Greene and Sumter counties.
Ashton King won the race with a time of 18:16. This is the second year in a row that King, 16, has won the race.
The other top male finishers were Will Gardner and Kenny Fair. The top female finishers were Stacey Holtzclaw, Erin Stewart and Meg Rankin.
The winners in the Masters category (above 40) were Scott Brasfield and Lisa Couples. The winners in the Grandmasters (above 50) category were Ricky Sparks and Tammy Davidson. The winners in the Great-Grandmasters (above 60) were Richard Snow and Amy Holliday.
