Marengo Academy went on the road Friday night to Eastwood Academy in Montgomery and came away with a 51-14 victory.

The Longhorns led 19-0 after the first and 51-6 at halftime. The second string played the entire second half as well as the last few minutes of the second quarter.

Marengo Academy outgained Eastwood 463 yards to 103 yards in the game, and held Eastwood to only one first down.

Josh Holifield led the way with 195 yards on 10 carries for two touchdowns. Sebastian Hale had 77 yards on six carries and a TD, and Hayden Huckabee had 76 yards on four carries and two touchdowns.

Shade Pritchett caught three passes for 91 yards. He was the only Longhorn to catch a pass in the game.

The Longhorns improve to 2-0 with the win. They will host Jackson Academy next week.
