Goodwin joins Times staff as intern

Mary Catherine Goodwin, 22, has joined The Demopolis Times as a summer intern.
Goodwin attends Spring Hill College in Mobile, where she is pursuing a degree in public relations and advertising.
Mary Catherine Goodwin joined the staff of the Demopolis Times as an intern during the summer.
Last school year, Goodwin interned at Access Magazine and wrote articles for Spring Hill’s online newspaper, The Hillian Newswire.
“I am excited to be an intern for the summer here in Demopolis, “she said. “I love getting to know new people and learning new skills.”
Goodwin, a native of Tuscaloosa, started work earlier this month and will write primarily for Demopolis The Magazine and assist with other publications.
“We’re glad to have Mary Catherine here this summer, and I look forward to seeing her contributions to our magazine and other publications,” said Demopolis Times Publisher Justin Averette.
