Andrea McGilberry and Christopher Sammons were recently awarded Trustees Scholarship to attend the University of West Alabama. These awards, which are based on academic achievement and proven leadership potential, come from the UWA Office of Admissions.

Demopolis High Schoolgraduate Andrea McGilberry of Forkland was awarded a $6,000 scholarship and plans to major in chemistry.

Alabama Southern Community College student Christopher Sammons of Linden was awarded a $5,500 scholarship and plans to major in mathematics and engineering.
