The latest Alabama Sports Writers Association baseball and softball polls are out, and there is no change for Marengo County teams from last week’s standings.

The Demopolis Tigers baseball team is still just outside the top-10 with a 20-5 record. They improved their record in the last week with wins over Greenville, Selma and Thomasville.

The Marengo Academy Lady Longhorns (19-1) still sit atop the AISA softball rankings, even though they took their first loss of the season last week. The Lady Longhorns secured wins over Wilcox Academy and Southern Academy. Their lone loss of the season was to Kingswood Christian on Monday.
