The newly formed cheerleading committee met Monday morning with members of the Demopolis City Board of Education in response to concerns about the recent football and basketball cheerleading tryouts.

According to a press release, the committee and board voted, and it has been decided that an additional cheerleader will be added to this year’s football cheerleading squad, and basketball cheerleader tryouts will continue as they were advertised.
