The Demopolis City Schools Board of Education met Monday morning, and two principals in the Demopolis City School system have entered into contract negotiations with the school board.

Tony Pittman, principal of Westside Elementary, and Blaine Hathcock, principal of Demopolis Middle School, are both currently in their probationary contracts, and have been offered three-year contracts by the board of education.

The principals have five business days to negotiate their contracts with the board.

The board also approved an agreement with UWA for Donna Rembert Calhoun, who recently completed her administrative internship with the school system.
