The Demopolis Area Chamber of Commerce announced Monday that the Alabama Power’s plant in Greene County is the chamber’s Business of the Month.

DACC executive director Monica King said this facility plays a crucial role in providing reliable energy to Alabama and Mississippi, serving both local communities and the wider region. Plant Greene County is part of Alabama Power’s commitment to delivering sustainable energy solutions, while supporting local economic growth and community development.
