John Timmothy Hammack, age 74, of Gallion died Dec. 23, 2024, at his home. He was born Aug. 29, 1950 in Muskogee, Oklahoma, to Robert Hurbert and Ruth Marie Hammack. He was a retired United States Army Sergeant and a member of Rangeline Road Baptist Church in Linden.
He is survived by his sons, John Hammack, Jr. (Garah), Christopher Hammack (April), and Shawn Hammack (Crystal); daughter, Annie Thomas (Donnie); seven grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
Funeral services were held at Rangeline Road Baptist Church on Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2024 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Randall Smith officiating. Burial followed at Demopolis Memorial Gardens.
