The U.S. Jones Elementary Peer Helper group partnered with Windham Motor Co. to collect toys for Marengo County Department of Human Resources during its Peer Helping Tree campaign.
The students collected over 40 toys and $200 which was used to purchase more toys to donate.
During this season of giving, students were encouraged to give to those in need by donating a new toy or bringing a small monetary donation. They will use the money collected to purchase toys.
Students who bring in a toy or donation had their name displayed on their Peer Helping Tree!
Donations were taken through Wednesday, Dec. 18,
