The Demopolis Area Chamber of Commerce has kicked off ambassadors program for the 2024-2025 school year.

This year’s class features 41 students from Demopolis. Demopolis Area Chamber of Commerce executive director said the students are an important part of the future success of the community.

“The students will be learning all about their community, and they will have opportunities to perform community service throughout the year,” King said. “It is important to the future of our community that we develop the next generation of leaders who will want to step up and lead their hometown. Our ambassadors program is a way that we can help our community do that.”

The students range in ages from sixth grade through 12th grade.
