A Dixons Mills man died in a single-vehicle crash on Marengo County Road 6 Wednesday afternoon.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency identified the victim as Lonnie O. Dixon, 65, of Dixons Mills. He was driving a 2018 Jeep Cherokee at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25, on Marengo County Road 6 when his vehicle left the roadway and struck an embankment less than a mile north of the Dixons Mills

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. 

ALEA Highway Patrol Division continues to investigate the crash.
