William Harold McDaniel Sr., age 78, of Demopolis died August 20, 2024 at his home.  He was born December 23, 1945 in Demopolis to William Hascal and Norma Meadows McDaniel.  He was a retired paper mill worker.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Manning McDaniel; daughters, Susan McDaniel Dreher (Dion) and Catherine McDaniel Fuqua (David); and six grandchildren, Cody Dreher (Kristina), Caitlyn Dreher Sloan (Michael), Chris Dreher, Andrew Fuqua, Coleman Fuqua, and Blake Fuqua.

He was preceded in death by his son, William H. “Bubbie” McDaniel and his parents, William Hascal and Norma Meadows McDaniel.

Graveside funeral services were held at Demopolis Memorial Gardens on Thursday, August 22, 2024 at 4 p.m. with Reid Ward officiating.

Pallbearers were Dion Dreher, Cody Dreher, Chris Dreher, David Fuqua, Andrew Fuqua, and Coleman Fuqua.

Honorary pallbearer was Blake Fuqua.

Memorials may be made to Bigbee Humane Society.
