One Demopolis all-star softball team took home a trophy in the state tournament this past weekend.

The Demopolis 8U All-Stars took home second place in gold bracket, which is the top level of competition at the state tournament.

Team members for 8U team include Mia Etheridge, Riley Hamner, Hannah Johnson, Lucy Kimbrel, Olivia King, Kamiyah Matthews, Maddie Mayben, Paxton Randall, Helen Reynolds, Sara Morgan Sims, Katelyn Smith and Karoline Sommers. The coaches are Scott Kimbrel, Brent King, Daniel Hamner, Josh Johnson, Jay Reynolds and Lindsey Sims.
