Etheridge, Townsend, Averette from Sweet Water make ASWA All-State baseball team

Three Sweet Water players made the Alabama Sports Writers All-State baseball team, released last week by the ASWA.
The Bulldogs had three seniors on the Class 1A team. Infielder David Etheridge made the first team. Infielder Parker Townsend and outfielder Payton Averette both made the second team.
All three players were instrumental in Sweet Water’s run to the Class 1A state championship series, where they fell 2-1 to Sumiton Christian.
