Farmer’s Market
The Demopolis Farmer’s Market is held every Saturday from 8 a.m. until noon downtown in Public Square.
School Fest 2024
Westside Elementary School will have its SchoolFest 2024 Friday, May 17. Admissions for students is $15 and includes access to 1 inflatable bouncer, two inflatable slides, temporary tattoos, sidewalk chalk drawing, bubbles, games and much more. The teacher dunk booth will be $1 for two balls to dunk Westside teachers. Concessions will be available for $1 for all items except cotton candy which is $2.
Rock Paper Scissors
The After Hours Book Club will present “Rock Paper Scissors” a book by Alice Feeney on May 30 at 5:15 p.m. at the Demopolis Public Library.
Free screening
The Urology Health Foundation will be holding a free prostate cancer screening in Linden on June 22 for men 40 years of age and older from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Marengo County Health Department on 303 Industrial Drive in Linden. No appointments are needed. Early detection and treatment are key factors in addressing prostate cancer. That is why on Saturday, June 22, 2024 men are encouraged to come to the Marengo County Health Department to be screened.
