US Jones held its spelling bee recently, recognizing one winner and a runner-up from each grade level. Dr. Aliquippa Allen, founder and executive director of the Rural Business Training Center (RBTC) served as official word pronouncer for the contest. Emerging as the top spellers at the school are 3rd grade winner Zy’Nia Fluker and runner-up Jeron Boykins, 4th grade winner Gabriel Walker and runner-up Jayceon Williams, and 5th grade winner Ava Dussett and runner-up J.P. Dunn.
