The Demopolis Two Rivers Arts Council (TRAC) has a special event lined up for music lovers. The TRAC will present the “Blues and More” Live Music Showcase on Feb. 17 at The Ballroom at 7 p.m. The Ballroom is located at 114 East Washington Street, and the TRAC promises a night of electrifying live music.
The evening will be filled with the soulful sounds of blues and more. There will be performances by Jason Irvin, the Brown Band Special (BBS), and Clarence “Bluesman” Davis.
“Jason Irvin, a true maestro on the guitar, will captivate you with his mesmerizing solos and heartfelt vocals. He’ll take you on a musical journey through the rich history of the blues, leaving you craving more,” the press release stated. “And let’s not forget about the BBS Band. Their tight rhythm section and infectious grooves will have you dancing all night. They’ll bring the perfect blend of blues, funk, and soul to the stage, creating an atmosphere of pure musical bliss.”
The final performance of the evening will be Davis, who, with his gritty vocals and soulful harmonica, will transport listeners to the heart and soul of the blues.
Tickets are available now at Willa on Washington, the Demopolis Board of Education, WZNJ Radio Station, or by calling 334-654-1176.
“Don’t miss this incredible opportunity to witness these blues legends live on stage. Attendees should be ready to groove, sway, and let the music take over their soul.”
