A parole hearing for Marengo County inmate Jeremy Joshua Bell is scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 30.
Bell is serving time for a 2008 double murder conviction and is incarcerated in the Ventress Correctional Center in Barbour County. Bell has, so far, served fifteen years and two months for the conviction. The conviction totals 25 years. Bell was sentenced on Apr. 5, 2011.
On Nov. 13, 2008, Henry Green, 22, of Demopolis and Ron Elmore, 35, of Demopolis were shot to death in front of 722 E. Decatur St. in Demopolis.
Bell’s parole consideration date was Dec. 1, 2023 and he has a minimum release date of Nov. 16, 2033.
