Lamentations 3: 21-23: “This I recall to my mind; therefore I have hope. The Lord’s loving kindnesses indeed never cease, For His compassions never fail. They are new every morning. Great is Your faithfulness.”

We are beginning a new year, 2024. The years seem to go much faster now. We hold to the same hope as years past. That hope is in Jesus, our Savior, our Lord. His promises sustain us through each year. The promise of His unfailing love and His mercies, which are new every morning, continue to give us hope!

We all have the same hopes and dreams of better lives. We all want better health and desire our families to realize that their only future depends on God’s mercies.

As our world falls farther into chaos, our prayer is that God will have mercy. The Bible warns of such a time as we are in now. The time is now to turn our faces toward Him. No human leader will save us. We need revival, me, you, and our communities around the world. Revival begins as we acknowledge our sins. Look around you. Everywhere we look, we see how far we have fallen from God’s commands.

Yet, through it all, God says, “His mercies are fresh every morning.” We get a do-over every day if we will turn our faces toward Him and begin abiding in His love and His protective plan.

If you need help finding mercy, call on a faithful Godly Christian who walks daily with the LORD. Pray, and God will lead you to someone, a pastor, a friend, or even a church where the people serve God with their lives.
