Gary Clay Williams, age 73, of Marion, AL died Jan. 11, 2023 at Southland Nursing Home. He was born November 28, 1949 in Meridian, MS to Ralph Gist Williams, Sr. and Bessie Giles Williams. He was a former editor of the Demopolis Times.

He is survived by two sisters, Sharon Westrum (Alan), Cathy Swanson (Warren); two brothers, Ralph Williams, Jr. (Patricia) and Paul Williams.

Graveside funeral services were held at Linden Memorial Park on Friday, Jan. 13, 2023 with Rev. John Nicholson officiating.
