Carol Anderson Collins, 71 of Gallion went to her eternal home on Oct. 26. She was born on April 13, 1952, in Lake City, FL to Cecil A. Anderson and Bessie Cooper Anderson. She was a self-employed florist.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Audra Leigh Ward; her son, Joel Gray Collins, and her brother, Mitchell Dale Anderson.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald Scott Collins, her son, Freeman Cole Collins, her daughters Andrea Collins Whaley and Beth Collins Fleming, and five grandchildren; Ward Abrams, Will Abrams, Alex Fleming, Hannah Whaley, and Paisleigh Collins.

A graveside service will be held on Nov. 2, at 3 p.m. at the Providence Baptist Church Cemetery in Gallion with Keith Etheridge officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes, Demopolis Chapel directing.
