Thomaston Pecan Festival

The Thomaston Historical Foundation will be hosting its annual Pecan Festival on Saturday, Nov. 4. The festival will be at the Old Marengo County High School grounds. The festival begins at 9 a.m. and goes until 3 p.m.

Demopolis Methodist Women’s Bazaar

The Demopolis Methodist Women’s Bazaar will be held on Nov. 8. The bazaar will be at 200 East Decatur Street from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. For more information, call 334-289-1933.

We Honor Our Veterans Event

SouthernCare New Beacon Hospice is sponsoring a Veterans Day event at the Demopolis Public Library on Nov. 9. An opening ceremony will be held at 9 a.m. and the public can visit with Veterans from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. For more information, call the Demopolis Public Library at 334-289-1595 or SouthernCare New Beacon Hospice at 334-289-9522.

Veterans Day Program at Sweet Water High School

Sweet Water High School will be hosting a Veterans Reception and a program titled “Operation Gratitude” on Nov. 9. The reception will begin at 8:30 a.m. and the program will follow at 9 a.m. The program will be held at the Sweet Water High School Gymnasium.

Demopolis Farmer’s Market

Demopolis Farmer’s Market every Saturday from 8 a.m. until noon. Held downtown in Public Square.
