On Sept. 22, volunteers from The Bargain Box gathered at the home of Kitty Eddins to honor Iona Watts (front row center). When the Demopolis Council of Churchwomen formed in 1983 to establish its clothes and household outlet, Mrs. Watts was one of the original organizers.

For the past 40 years she has served not only as a clerk and cleaner, she has been responsible for securing workers for each day. Though she will be sorely missed, we celebrate her faithfulness and commitment to this community. She is an example of service and certainly well loved by her coworkers.
