The Parents Resource Institute for Drug Education, or PRIDE of Tuscaloosa, is partnering with the Warhouse Performing Arts Center to hold a parent summit on Sept. 19 at 6:00 p.m.

The presentation is meant to allow parents to hear from local law enforcement, substance abuse statistics, and to help them be more involved with their children. Parents will be able to voice their concerns “regarding youth related issues within Marengo County.

The keynote speaker for the event will be Sgt. Richard Bryant of the Demopolis Police Department.

PRIDE of Tuscaloosa is dedicated to providing proven and effective drug prevention programming and strategies to the parents and youth in the West Alabama area.
