The Demopolis Area Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Celebration will take place on Thursday, April 27, 2023, at the Demopolis Civic Center. The event will kick off at 6:00 pm with a silent auction and reception. Dinner will follow at 6:45 pm with awards to honor local citizens that have gone over and beyond in 2022. The Chamber is asking for silent auction donations from Chamber members. Tickets are on sale for $75 at the Chamber office.

The winners of the Awards are as follows: Business of the Year 2022: Plaza Golf Cart, Lifetime Achievement Award 2022: Annye Braxton, Citizen of the Year 2022: Rhae Darsey, Community Spirit Award 2022: Batter Up Sports Bar and Grill, Chamber Volunteer of the Year 2022: Jennifer Helms, Youth Volunteer of the Year 2022: Trey Bucurel.
