Demopolis man dies in single-vehicle crash in Hale County

A Demopolis man was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Friday, March 31 in Hale County.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), TaCorey D. Jefferson, 31, was killed around 2:30 a.m. on Alabama Highway 60, about five miles east Sawyerville. Jefferson was driving a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee when the vehicle left the road, overturned, and struck a tree. Jefferson was not wearing a seatbelt, according to ALEA.
Jefferson was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division is investigating the crash.
