DEMOPOLIS, Alabama — Effective this month, Foster Farms increased the entry level wage rate for its Demopolis, Alabama processing plant TEAM members to $12.75 per hour. Demopolis TEAM Members will also begin accruing vacation time earlier and will qualify for Holiday vacation days from the first day of employment. Foster Farms TEAM members are also eligible for a comprehensive health care plan, as well as disability and life insurance coverage.

Foster Farms initiated a similar wage increase program at its facilities in Livingston, California; Kelso, Washington; and Farmerville, Louisiana in 2022.
