Severe weather in Marengo County

Today is a severe weather day and the Marengo County E-911/EMA has reported downed trees and standing water on roads.
Reports say trees are down on County Roads 1 and 54 in the Springhill and Keenland Farms areas. The Marengo County E-911/EMA has asked that people avoid these areas while responders work to clear the roads.
They have also asked people to avoid Hwy. 80 in Demopolis near the Red Barn as the highway is covered with water. The Demopolis Police Department is assisting with traffic flow.
Power outages have also been reported in the north end of the county between Providence and Old Spring Hill. Alabama Power has been notified of the outages. The Marengo County E-911/EMA said do not call 911 to report power outages.
