Head-on collision claims lives of two Marengo County men

Two Marengo County residents have died after a head-on collision near Sweet Water on Friday, November 11.
Alabama Senior State Trooper Brandon Bailey confirmed that Brodney Hudson (32-years old) and Wendall Hosea (59-years old) were driving on Alabama Hwy. 10 when they collided near the Sweet Water town limit. Troopers believe Hudson, who was driving a 2015 Toyota Corolla, crossed the centerline and struck the 1996 Nissan Pickup Hosea was driving.
Bailey reported that neither man was wearing a seatbelt, and both were pronounced dead at the scene. The collision happened around 9:15 p.m.
Both men were from Dixon Mills.
No further details are available as of Saturday morning. State Troopers said they will continue to investigate the accident.
