The Linden Board of Education has begun its search for a new principal at the high school after previous principal, Marcus West, resigned near the beginning of the school year.
During the August 22 meeting, Superintendent Dr. Timothy Thurman said he was in the process of putting together applications and a group of stakeholders so the system can begin looking for a new principal. Thurman hopes to have a recommendation soon.
The supplies for the gym floor project have arrived at G.P. Austin Middle School and work began immediately. The floor will take two weeks to cure completely.
