Anderson Family Care had its ribbon-cutting ceremony last Friday, June 17. The new doctor’s office is located 119 W Washington St in the downtown area. Dr. Brittney Anderson will officially begin seeing patients in July.

Mayor Woody Collins gave Anderson a warm welcome and touched on how important doctors are in communities, especially rural communities.

“Every community these days is looking for doctors and some places are losing doctors. We’re gaining a great new office here,” said Collins. “We’re so excited to have her here and we wish her the best.”

Anderson then expressed her excitement about opening her office in Demopolis.

“I’m really excited about this endeavor. I’m so grateful to God and His blessing, and my family for their support,” said Anderson. “We have prayed over the clinic and we are looking forward to great success. I have fallen in love with Demopolis and I’m so happy to become a part of the community.”

Anderson is a Board Certified Family Medicine Physician and a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. She was born, raised, and medically trained in Alabama and has a passion for rural and community health.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Services include adult medicine, pediatric medicine, physical exams, screening/prevention, wellness exams, chronic disease management, minor injury care, minor procedures, sick visits, skin care, and women’s health.

Both Anderson and her staff are proud to offer quality and compassionate care to citizens of Marengo County and surrounding counties.

Anderson Family Care takes appointments and walk-in visits and accepts most major insurances.
