LifeSouth will be accepting donations of blood again in Demopolis on Friday, May 27, from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the Demopolis Civic Center.

Donors must be at least 16 years of age and weigh no less than 110 pounds. Anyone who is 16 must have a parental okay to give blood.

Snacks and gifts will be given to all who donate. Before coming to the Civic Center, donors are reminded to eat well and drink fluids. All donors receive a $10 gift card.

Each unit taken during the blood drive saves three lives. LifeSouth provides the blood supplies for Whitfield Regional Hospital. The blood drive is sponsored by the WRH Auxiliary.
