Rebecca Crawford Marlowe, 69, of Demopolis, Alabama went to her eternal home on Friday, May 28, 2021. She was born on April 9, 1952, in Demopolis, Alabama to Solomon Dorsey (Chuck) Crawford and Jeanne Watson Crawford.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Lee Oliver Crawford. She is survived by her husband, James Kenneth Marlowe, daughters, Savannah Marlowe Holtzclaw (Steven) and Olivialeigh Marlowe Hall, and her brother, John Gaston Crawford. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren, Dalton Holtzclaw, William Barkley, Stephen Barkley, Rebecca Kate Hall, Crawford Hall, Arianna Holtzclaw, and Katherine Holtzclaw, two aunts, Rachel W. Sugg and Amelia W. Traeger, and a host of cousins.
She was an active member of Trinity Episcopal Church, serving on the Altar Guild, Vestry, and ECW. She often said, “God first, and family second”. She was also actively involved in the Reading Club and Luncheon Club. She loved to paint, travel, and spend time with her family and friends. She found great joy in her time spent with her grandchildren and attending their various sporting events and programs. Many days she could be found spending time in her flower gardens.
A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, June 3, 2021, at 10:00 am at Trinity Episcopal Church with Father Paul Andersen officiating.
